Rajma Chawal at Peerah

Description
The place is called Peerah /Peera Morh. Morh, as v know, means curve/turn on a track. Since there are curves every hundred metres or two, each with a cluster of own dhabas, be careful to halt where u find maximum number of taxis and self driven cars parked. on this curve, on both sides of the highway, are located a few dhabas, run by a family of Sharmas. They serve you only one dish- Rajmash-chawal mixed (red Kidney beans and Basmati rice cooked separately but served mixed) with anardana chutney (a smaller and wild version of pomegranate relish)and almost a large peg equivalent of desi ghee (locally clarified butter).

Noon Tea

Description
Noon chai is traditionally made from special tealeaves, milk, salt, and cooked in a samavar. A pinch of baking soda is added to help give it more of a pronounced pink color. A recent commercial variant preparation of this tea in Pakistani restaurants/teastalls also includes sugar but it is not consumed inKashmir.
